This project rehabilitated an 18” and 36” outfall drainage system at two different site locations that were damaged by Hurricane Matthew. The drainage pipes were located in easements on private residences and all work was performed from the water side of the seawall on barges. The project included the removal of existing drainage pipes and structures and the installation of new concrete drainage pipes through a seawall, including all restoration of fencing and landscaping. This project was required to comply with FEMA equipment and specifications to qualify for funding reimbursement.
