HART BRIDGE SUSPENSION CABLE REPAIR

This project consisted of rehabilitating and strengthening gusset plates, select suspension cables, as well as replacing deteriorated rivets and bolts. In addition to such renewals, the project replaced drainage troughs below existing finger joints along with some spot painting. The Hart Bridge is constructed with 3,844 feet of steel truss which is suspended across the St. Johns River. VIA was a subconsultant to Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. on this project.
