HALF MOON ISLAND PARK

This is a project through the City’s CEI contract for the addition of a new passive park along the Nassau River. This design build project consisted of roadway widening on US 17, boat ramp, floating dock, fishing pier, restroom facility, two pavilions, new pond, drainage improvements, rubble rip-rap shore line stabilization, irrigation well and system, electrical service, pavement markings and sodding. Project required close coordination with the contractor and the Parks Department for the proper expenditure of FIND Grants to maximize the public investment.
